Requisition ID: 4268 Location: Trento, IT #job-location.job-location-inline { display: inline; } Work regime: Full-Time Kind of contract: Fixed Term Contract MissionMissionAs Field Service Engineer Proton Therapy, you play a key role in IBA’s mission to treat cancer https://jobeax.com/link/c0ab6QEDcJQfasVz are responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of IBA equipment and systems (hardware and software) on IBA or customer's sites, in order to deliver within defined timelines a final reliable working product, matching quality, performance and customer satisfaction requirements. You also participate in maintenance and operations of IBA equipment at our Proton Therapy Center in Trento. You are based on site, but open to travel for training and support https://jobeax.com/link/wG6wmIMMOfHfiajj we trust you withAs Field Engineer Proton Therapy, you are responsible for:Technical ownership of a site subsystem according to area competenciesMaintaining and troubleshooting the equipment dealing with electrical, mechanical, and software mattersTesting and repairing the equipment/systems according to the technical specificationsUpgrading and improving the system in collaboration with the R&D departmentEnsuring the highest quality of state-of-the-art technologies/servicesProposing solutions that improve equipment reliability, stability and operabilityPreparing and setting up of equipment/systems on a daily basis for clinical operationsOperating the equipment and providing technical support to the medical staff during daily operationsEnsuring daily reports of activities, maintenance execution and incidents in the appropriate IT toolsMaintaining adequate records as defined by the specific facilityDirect contact with internal and external clientsMaintaining the third parties equipment (TPS, OIS, various gating systems)What we valueA technical bachelor’s or master’s degree in the field of electronics, mechatronics, automation, or telecommunicationsAs alternative a technical high school diploma with solid experience in an industrial environment in maintenance, installation and troubleshooting activities dealing with electrical equipment and plantsGood verbal good communication skills in Italian and EnglishGood written and reporting skills in Italian and EnglishOpen to work on shift (between 6 AM - 12PM) and a average of 1 weekend every 5 weeks. Good analytical and logical reasoning skills for root cause analysisA broad technical interest and motivation to perform hands-on workBasic/medium level of IT knowledge to perform first line interventions on sys admin mattersAnd you also are:Customer-orientedProactive/hands-on personAble to follow rules and regulationsAble to deliver on strict deadlinesEager to learn new fields, continuously updating your knowledge (Electronics, Software, Hardware, Beam Physics, Medical Application etc.)Willing to share your knowledge in your area of expertiseA team player with strong interpersonal skillsA flexible person, willing to work in rotating shift work (mainly morning and afternoon shifts but also late afternoon and night shifts to perform activities after the patient’s treatments.
