Kongskilde Industries is strengthening its presence in Italy and is looking for an Area Sales Manager to lead our commercial growth in this strategically important market.

This is a newly established role, offering a unique opportunity to take ownership of market development, build long-term customer partnerships, and create sustainable business growth.

Your Role

As Area Sales Manager Italy, you will be responsible for developing Kongskilde's business across Italy and managing the entire sales process, from identifying new opportunities to securing orders and supporting project execution. You will work with:

• Industrial end customers
• Distributors and agents
• Existing customers and new prospects

Key Responsibilities

• Drive business development activities and build a strong sales pipeline
• Identify and acquire new customers across Italy
• Develop and strengthen relationships with existing customers and partners
• Sell pneumatic conveying components and complete system solutions
• Conduct customer visits, technical discussions, and needs analyses
• Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial agreements
• Manage customer projects from initial contact to final implementation
• Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, and Customer Support teams
• Identify opportunities for aftermarket, spare parts, and service sales
• Represent Kongskilde Industries at trade fairs and industry events
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices across the international sales organization

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a proactive sales professional who thrives on developing business opportunities and building strong customer relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in B2B technical sales, solution sales, or project sales
• Proven track record in business development and customer acquisition
• Experience managing longer and more complex sales cycles
• Strong commercial mindset combined with relationship-building skills
• Technical understanding and ability to learn customer processes quickly
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across functions and countries
• Fluent Italian and English

Industry Experience (Beneficial but Not Required):

Experience from one or more of the following industries is considered an advantage:

• Plastics
• Packaging
• Paper
• Labels
• Recycling
• Material Handling
• Industrial Equipment
